Did you know?

Following graduation from McKinney High School in Texas in 2003, Lang attended Duke University, North Carolina. She recorded six collegiate tournament wins, and amongst several prestigious awards was named the 2004 NCAA Freshman College Golfer of the Year. After two years of college golf, Lang decided to turn professional in 2005. Her first professional win came in 2012 in her 154th LPGA Tour event.

Lang claimed a breakthrough major championship win in 2016. In a three-hole aggregate playoff against Sweden's Anna Nordqvist, both players were notified on the final playoff hole that video evidence showed Nordqvist had inadvertently touched the sand with her club in a bunker at the previous hole.
