In addition to Graham Cooke & Associate's best known designs and major redesigns (listed above), Cooke has also undertaken many renovations and restorations. This "improvement" work has involved some of Canada's most prestigious courses, including: Beaconsfield, Brudenell River, Cape Breton Highlands (formerly Highland Links), Château Montebello, Manoir Richelieu, Marine Drive, Mississaugua, Point Grey, Royal Colwood, Royal Ottawa, Royal Quebec, Scarboro and Victoria, and also in Italy at: Dei Laghi, Monticello, Le Fronde, Torino La Mandria, Varese and Villa d'Este, and in the United States at: Brookfield (NY), Crag Burn (NY), Essex GC (VT), Lake Placid (NY) and Newport G&CC (VT).

Did you know?

After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in landscape architecture in 1972, Cooke, a highly accomplished amateur golfer and winner of many national and provincial titles, embarked on a long and successful career as one of Canada's best known course designers. After apprenticing with Howard Watson, who learnt his craft under the great Stanley Thompson, Cooke formed his own golf course design company in 1973.

Making full use of the design talents of Cooke himself, and at different times other notable designers such as Wayne Carleton, Yannick Pilon, Darrell Huxham and his brother Warren Huxham, Graham Cooke & Associates has designed and overseen the construction of over 100 golf courses. It has also provided renovation services for over 600 clients in Canada and around the world.
