Did you know?

Born in Columbia, Missouri, Maggert spent his formative golf years growing-up in The Woodlands, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University ("Aggies") and became an All-American golf team member. In 1990 he was named Player of the Year on the Ben Hogan Tour (No.2 U.S. Tour), becoming a full PGA Tour member in 1991.

During his PGA Tour career Maggert won three times, played in three Ryder Cups and one Presidents Cup. Major championship success came in 2015 on the Champions Tour, when he won both the Regions Tradition and the U.S. Senior Open.
