Robbins started playing golf aged 8, and enjoyed a successful amateur career. While attending the University of Tulsa, she was twice named a First-Team All-American. Her LPGA career started in 1992, and saw her win nine tour titles, including a major championship in 1995. Robbins played on six Solheim Cup teams.
