Did you know?

After winning the English Amateur Championship in 1989, Richardson turned professional later that year. His career on the European Tour started encouragingly with two wins in 1991, a fifth place finish in the US PGA Championship and inclusion in the 1991 Ryder Cup team. After another win on the Tour in 1993, Richardson's form began to decline during the 1990s, with visits to Q-School needed to keep his Tour card.
