Played as the inaugural LIV Golf Mayakoba (Feb 24-26; 54-hole 48-player no-cut individual event, and accompanying 4-player team event). [El Camaleón course, Mayakoba Resort, Riviera Maya, Mexico].
Individual event: second-placed Peter Uihlein (USA) finished 4 shots behind Charles Howell III (USA), who pocketed the $4 million first prize.
Team event: second-placed Four Aces team (Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Pat Perez & Peter Uihlein) finished 9 shots behind the Crushers team (Bryson DeChambeau, Charles Howell III, Anirban Lahiri & Paul Casey), who shared the $3 million team first prize.

Chevron Championship: the first women’s major championship of 2023 is played for the first time in Texas, having been uprooted from its home of 51 years at the Mission Hills Country Club, Rancho Mirage, California.
