Second-placed Aditi Ashok (India) finished 1 shot behind 20-year-old Esther Henseleit (Ger), who recorded her first Ladies European Tour win in her 18th start on the Tour. 20-year-old Henseleit (Ger) won the LET season-long points chase, to capture the Tour's 2019 Order of Merit and €20,000 bonus. Henseleit accumulated 743.06 points (earning €208,777 in the process). Second was Marianne Skarpnord (Nor) 694.44 pts (earnings €174,455); third was Christine Wolf (Aut) 536.65 pts (earnings €138,156). Carlota Ciganda (Esp) was the No.1 money winner in 2019, with earnings of €247,668 from the Tour. Henseleit emulated Laura Davies (Eng; 1985) and Carlota Ciganda (Esp; 2012) in winning both the LET's Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year award in the same season.

20-year-old Henseleit (Ger) won the 2019 Rookie of the Year Award as the Ladies European Tour's leading first-season player; she also topped the Tour's Order of Merit, accumulating 743.06 points during the season (and earning €208,777 in the process). In the LET's 41-year history, only Laura Davies (Eng; 1985) and Carlota Ciganda (Esp; 2012) had won the Tour's Order of Merit in their rookie year.
Women’s (British) Open: the last women’s major championship of the season is hosted by Royal Porthcawl GC. It’s the first time this fabulous seaside links course has hosted the event (July 31-Aug 3).
Walker Cup: the 50th playing of this prestigious men’s amateur event sees the GB&I go head-to-head against the defending USA team at Cypress Point Club, California (Sept 6-7). After that, all eyes turn to Bethpage State Park on Long Island, NY, where the American and defending European professional teams engage in the 45th Ryder Cup (Sept 27-29).
Lottie Woad: 21-year-old Woad burst onto the professional scene in July, with wins in the Women’s Irish Open (as an amateur) and three weeks later in the Women’s Scottish Open (as a professional). She nearly picked-up a major championship, placing third in The Evian in the same month.
Pádraig Harrington: the ever-likeable Irishman added the (British) Senior Open Championship title to his stellar array of tournament successes. His win came on Sunningdale’s spectacular Old Course. Harrington had already bagged the U.S. Senior Open title in June this year.
