Played as the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic (July 5-8). Second-placed Carlota Ciganda (Esp) finished 9 shots behind Park (S Kor). With rounds of 63, 65, 64 and 65 Park posted the lowest ever 72-hole aggregate score in LPGA Tour history and the Tour's lowest ever score against par. [Thornberry Creek at Oneida, nr Green Bay, Wisconsin].

Played as the inaugural Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic (July 6-9). Second-placed Ashleigh Buhai (RSA) finished 1 shot behind Katherine Kirk (Aus), who claimed her third LPGA Tour win, coming 152 starts after her previous LPGA Tour win. Her earlier wins came while playing under her maiden name Katherine Hull. [Thornberry Creek at Oneida, nr Green Bay, Wisconsin].
Presidents Cup: Geoff Ogilvy’s International Team take on Brandt Snedeker’s USA Team at the revered Medinah Country Club, near Chicago. The Internationals are trying to halt a run of 11 consecutive American wins. (Sept 24-27).
French Open: Continental Europe’s oldest national championship, dating from 1906, is once again staged on the Albatros Course at Le Golf National, near Paris. Defending champion is America’s Michael Kim. (Sept 24-27).

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour.
