Roll of Honour

Ryder Cup player (2012, '16). Presidents Cup player (2013). Multiple wins on the PGA Tour. PGA Tour Rookie of the Year (2007). FedEx Cup Champion (2012).

Did you know?

Snedeker was introduced to the game of golf by his maternal grandmother who managed a golf course in Missouri. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in his home city of Nashville, Tennessee in 2003, the same year as he won the US Amateur Public Links Championship. He turned professional in 2004.

After two years on the Nationwide Tour, "Sneds" joined the PGA Tour in 2007. He announced his presence with a course-record equalling 61 on Torrey Pines' North Course in the first round of the Buick Invitational (a tournament in which he finished third). Snedeker's peers voted him Rookie of the Year for 2007, and his earnings of $2.8 million are the largest ever by a rookie.

Several notable PGA Tour wins followed in ensuing years, including the Tour Championship in 2012, two Pebble Beach National Pro-Ams, a Canadian Open and the coveted and lucrative FedEx Cup. In winning the 2018 Wyndham Championship, Sneds became the tenth player to shoot a sub-60 round on the PGA Tour.
