Cecil Leitch was one of three sisters who developed their excellent golfing skills on the formidable links of Silloth on Solway. Leitch's eventual tally of wins could have been even more impressive but for the advent of another remarkable golfer, Joyce Wethered (later Lady Heathcot-Amory).
