1952Ryder Cup player (1967, '71). Multiple wins on the PGA Tour (7) and several other professional wins, especially in Florida, in the 1950s and 60s.
After a successful PGA Tour career, during which he recorded seven victories, Dickinson became one of the founders of the Senior PGA Tour. His wife, Judy Clark, was a four-time LPGA Tour winner, who became President of the LPGA Tour.
Dickinson is known for the quote, “they say golf is like life, but don’t believe them. Golf is more complicated than that”.
