Did you know?

Piñero was present when the great entertainer and golfer Bing Crosby died of a heart attack, on 14 October 1977 at La Moraleja Golf Club outside Madrid. Piñero and Crosby, together with Spanish pro Valentín Barrios and La Moraleja owner Cesar de Zuluetaone, had just finished their social four-ball match. Shortly afterwards, just outside the clubhouse, 74-year-old Crosby had a massive heart attack and died instantaneously.
