Roll of Honour

Multiple wins on the European Tour.

Did you know?

Aged 21, the dedicated amateur golfer (and footballer) Quiros enjoyed a golf handicap of +3.4. He felt ready to turn professional and ply his skills on the Spanish Peugeot Tour. In 2006, he received an invitation to play a Challenge Tour event in Manchester, England, which he won. This gave him full Challenge Tour playing rights for the rest of the year, from where he earned his European Tour card for 2007.

The European Tour 2007 season kicked-off in South Africa in Nov/Dec 2006. It was here at the Alfred Dunhill Championship that Quiros entered his first ever event as a European Tour card-holder. He won by one shot over the home country favourite, Charl Schwartzel.

For several seasons (2007, '08, '09, '11) Quiros was the Tour's longest in driving distance. His big-hitting game earned him at least one European Tour win each year from 2008 to 2011. Among the wins was a coveted Spanish Open victory in 2010.
