Did you know?

Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Kirk grew-up 200 miles further south in Woodstock, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia, and competed for the university's "Bulldogs" golf team. In 2007 he won the Ben Hogan Award, as the best college golf player in the United States.

After three seasons on the Nationwide Tour, Kirk finished second on the tour's 2010 money list, allowing him to move up to the full PGA Tour for the 2011 season.
