Played as the Mercuries Taiwan Masters (Sept 28-Oct 1; Asian Tr event). Second-placed Rahil Gangjee (India) finished 1 shot behind Ghei (India), who recorded his first win on the Asian Tour in 11 years. [Tamsui course, Taiwan G&CC, Taipei, Taiwan].
Played as the inaugural Asian Nations Cup (Oct 8-10; Asian Tr two-man World Cup of Golf qualfying event). Won by Korea. Ghei (India) won the individual prize. [Kota Permai G&CC, Shah Alam, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia].

Played as the inaugural Gadgil Western Masters (Asian Tr event). Second-placed Vijay Kumar (India) finished 1 shot behind Ghei (India), who chipped in for an eagle-three on the final hole to snatch the victory. [Delhi GC, New Delhi, India].
Played as the Desaru Classic (in Malaysia, not an Asian Tour event).
Presidents Cup: Geoff Ogilvy’s International Team take on Brandt Snedeker’s USA Team at the revered Medinah Country Club, near Chicago. The Internationals are trying to halt a run of 11 consecutive American wins. (Sept 24-27).
French Open: Continental Europe’s oldest national championship, dating from 1906, is once again staged on the Albatros Course at Le Golf National, near Paris. Defending champion is America’s Michael Kim. (Sept 24-27).
Our visit last month included two rounds at Golf de Chantilly, one of France’s most prestigious clubs.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf.
