Roll of Honour

Ryder Cup player (1951, '53, '55, '57, '59, '61, '63). Ryder Cup non-playing captain (1965). At least 20 wins on the British professional circuit. Harry Vardon Trophy (1952, '56), awarded at the time to the winner of the British PGA's Order of Merit.

Did you know?

Often described as one of Britain's greatest golfers of the 1950s and early-60s, Weetman died in 1972 aged 51. He passed away in Redhill hospital, a few days after being seriously injured in a car accident. He was a passenger in the car, which left the road and ploughed into a hedge.
