Todd Hamilton attended college at the University of Oklahoma. He is best known for his surprise win at the 2004 Open Championship at Royal Troon, where triumphed over Ernie Els in a four hole playoff. He earned his first PGA Tour card at the age of 38, having previously played most of his golf on the Japan Tour.
