Played as the Madeira Islands Open BPI - Portugal (March 20-23). Forsyth (Scot) beat Hennie Otto (RSA) with a birdie at the first playoff hole to record his second European Tour win. [Santo da Serra GC, Machico, Madeira].

Played as the Carlsberg Malaysian Open (Feb 28-Mar 3; Asian/Eurpn Trs event). 26-year-old wire-to-wire winner Forsyth (Scot) beat Stephen Leaney (Aus) with a birdie at the second playoff hole, to record his first win as a professional. [Old course, Royal Selangor GC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia].

Presidents Cup: Geoff Ogilvy’s International Team take on Brandt Snedeker’s USA Team at the revered Medinah Country Club, near Chicago. The Internationals are trying to halt a run of 11 consecutive American wins. (Sept 24-27).
French Open: Continental Europe’s oldest national championship, dating from 1906, is once again staged on the Albatros Course at Le Golf National, near Paris. Defending champion is America’s Michael Kim. (Sept 24-27).

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf.
