Did you know?

"JB" Holmes enjoyed a flying start to his PGA Tour career, finishing tied tenth in his first PGA Tour start (2006 Sony Open). A month later he won the FBR Open (originally the Phoenix Open) at TPC Scottsdale. These results made him the fastest player in PGA Tour history to reach $1,000,000 in career earnings.

In 2011 Holmes underwent brain surgery. He returned to the PGA Tour in January 2012, and subsequently got back to winning ways at the 2014 Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Club, NC. Holmes is know for his "grip it and rip it" style of play, based on hitting the ball long distances from the tee.
