The Kaulig Companies Championship (43rd) (June 19-22). 61-year-old Miguel Ángel Jiménez (Esp) beat Steven Alker (NZ) with a birdie at the second playoff hole (par-4 18th), to record his 17th PGA Tour Champions win and third senior major title. [South course, Firestone CC, Akron, Ohio].
Note: not recognised by the European Senior Tour as a major championship, and not on their schedule.

The ISPS Handa Senior Open (38th) (July 24-27). Second-placed Thomas Bjørn (Den) and Justin Leonard (USA) finished 3 shots behind Pádraig Harrington (Ire), who claimed his second senior major championship title of the year, and third in total. [Old course, Sunningdale GC, Sunningdale, Berks].

Second-placed Jerry Kelly (USA) finished 1 shot behind 55-year-old Ángel Cabrera (Arg), who recorded his second PGA Tour Champions win and first in a senior major championship. Monday finish required after rain delays.. [Founders course, Greystone G&CC, Birmingham, Alabama].

The US Senior Open (45th) (June 26-29). Second-placed Stewart Cink (USA) finished 1 shot behind 53-year-old Pádraig Harrington (Ire), who recorded his second win in this event and second senior major title. [East course, The Broadmoor GC, Colorado Springs, Colo.].

The Senior PGA Championship (85th) (May 22-25). Second-placed Pádraig Harrington (Ire) and Thomas Bjørn (Den) finished 1 shot behind Ángel Cabrera (Arg), who recorded his third PGA Tour Champions win and second in a senior major championship ( ... his first senior major coming just six days earlier). [Blue course, Congressional CC, Bethesda, Maryland].
Sony Open in Hawaii: played at Waialae Country Club near Honolulu, the Sony Open takes over the spotlight from The Sentry as the PGA Tour’s calendar-year opening event (Jan 15-18). The Sentry (not being played in 2026) was formerly known as the Tournament of Champions, with a field typically restricted to golfers who won a PGA Tour event in the previous calendar year.
Dubai Desert Classic: the DP World Tour’s first Rolex Series event of 2026, is contested for the 37th time (Jan 22-25). First won by Englishman Mark James in 1989, it now boasts a four-time winner, Rory McIlroy. Played on the Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis course, this once desert-surrounded course is the long-time flagship for Golf in Dubai.
Our visit last month included two rounds at Golf de Chantilly, one of France’s most prestigious clubs.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour.
