Roll of Honour

MAJORS (1): The Masters (2018). Ryder Cup player (2014, '16, '18). Presidents Cup player (2015, '17, '19). Multiple wins on the PGA Tour.

Did you know?

During an excellent amateur career Reed won many high school (University High School, Baton Rouge, LA) and college (Augusta State University) honours. On an excursion to Heswall GC, near Liverpool, he also became the British Junior Open champion in 2006.

Turning professional in 2011, Reed earned his PGA Tour card for 2013 at Q-school. His rookie year brought his maiden tour win, which was followed in 2014 by two further wins, including a World Golf Championships event.

His tour successes were rewarded with a place in the 2014 Ryder Cup team, where he and Jordan Spieth became a powerful and undefeated force in the fourballs and foursomes. Although finishing on the losing team, Reed contributed a total of 3.5 pts out of a possible 4, better than any other player on the USA team. In the 2016 Ryder Cup he was again the USA's leading points scorer, again contributing 3.5 pts, but this time as a member of a victorious USA team.

Major championship success came in 2018 in The Masters Tournament at Augusta National, where Reed held off the early challenge of Rory McIlroy (N.Ire) and later challenges of fellow Americans Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler.
