Arizona Best Golf Courses

Best golf courses in Arizona

Golfing in Arizona: Arizona, a land of plateaus, canyons and gushing rivers, offers a good selection of unique, interesting and highly enjoyable golf courses. The quality and number of courses in Arizona is almost without parallel, with many resort courses offering much more than just golf. This is a real golfers' paradise, where courses are plentiful, generally well maintained and often very scenic.

On the courses themselves, many fairways are crossed by "wash" areas, desert wasteland which allows surface water to run off the course. Desert rule generally applies, whereby desert areas may be played as water hazards.

To make the most out of your golf trip to Arizona, look up the location of the golf courses on the map. It will help you with your planning to play the best during your vacation.
On the maps we have indicated golf hotels and Stay & Play resorts with the following symbol Stay & Play Golf Resorts
We applied a rating to each golf course visited. The rating scale, 5 (highest) to 1 (lowest), attempts to provide an indication of the golfing experience you can expect at each rated course.
